Montessori High School at University Circle was featured in Crain’s Cleveland Private School Planner. Published this past August and distributed with Crain’s, the profile emphasized how the MHS experience empowers students to embrace independence and make informed choices about their education.
Students at Montessori High School at University Circle benefit from an extended campus that boasts world-renown museums, cultural centers, gardens and libraries. Through a unique partnership arrangement, MHS students have membership access to many University Circle institutions, including the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the Cleveland History Center and the Cleveland Botanical Garden. Students frequent the research libraries of Case Western Reserve University and the exhibits of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
MHS’s main campus is steps away from these institutions allowing classroom coursework to come alive with direct hands-on learning. The historic homes that comprise the main campus offer an intimate setting for classes and seminars, while fellow University Circle institutions make up an integrated ex-tended campus that takes students’ regular excursions far beyond a field-trip experience so students can fully immerse themselves in the life of this vibrant cultural and educational community.
