The MHS curriculum is built on the broad foundation of the liberal arts.
The study of history, language, literature, the arts, math and science is essential to fueling curiosity and honing the skills of the scholar. Classes are designed to teach students to think critically, to question thoughtfully, and to communicate effectively.
Our curriculum is designed to develop the whole individual through academics, service, self-expression, and leadership. The ultimate goal of an MHS education is to help students develop a strong sense of personal responsibility. We expect students to take ownership of their education, and then to take what they’ve learned and make a difference in the world.
