Part-time Intervention Specialist

Montessori High School at University Circle is accepting applications for a part-time Intervention Specialist for the remainder of 2017-2018 school year, with the option for a 2018-2019 contract. The Intervention Specialist plans, organizes, and implements accommodations and strategies for individual students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The Intervention Specialist will work one-on-one with individual students and small groups, and will collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure the successful implementation of accommodations. The Intervention Specialist will also support student development in social interaction and communication skills. This position will comply with all pertinent State of Ohio and Federal educational requirements. A four-year degree from an accredited college is required.

The successful candidate will be well-versed in current research, strategies, and best practices in the field of special services and support; will have experience managing processes for IEPs, 504s, ETRs, SPs, and SEGO; will be highly organized and detail-oriented; and will be a team player interested in becoming an active member of the MHS community. Experience with ELL is preferred but not required.

Math Teacher

Montessori High School at University Circle is seeking a full-time math teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and experience in teaching math courses from Algebra to Calculus. Experience with IB Mathematics, and/or Montessori teaching methods is preferred. Office Manager

Montessori High School at University Circle is seeking an Office Manager to begin work in August 2018, with a preliminary orientation in June. The Office Manager is the gatekeeper to MHS and ensures that all interactions and experiences at the “front door” of the institution are warm, welcoming and professional.  The Office Manager is also a key steward of the student experience through management of attendance, student records, communication and emergency preparedness.
