Campus Life

MHS:  On campus and beyond

As an MHS student, time is spent working and learning inside the school and beyond it.  School is the home base, the place where students return to share their discoveries and achievements and where they learn about classmates’ experiences as well.

Self-motivated, cooperative learning within the school community constitutes the majority of a student’s time and provides opportunity for genuine social and intellectual connections within the school.  Social and sporting events are a regular part of the school community as well.

University Circle institutions include The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland Botanical Garden, the Western Reserve Historical Society, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Institute of Art, Case Western Reserve University, One to One Fitness Center, The Cleveland Clinic, and the Cleveland Play House.

This balance of life and work inside and outside the school community makes MHS unique.

MHS is a small school, but there is a variety of opportunities in which students can participate.  MHS provides students with outlets for creative self-expression and with opportunities to follow their interests through a multitude of learning activities.  Students will work and learn with other students from around the world and with faculty and renowned experts from diverse fields.  This environment and the partnerships with University Circle organizations make us confident that students will have ample opportunities to find their niche, share experiences with like-minded peers and mentors, and develop their talents.  We believe MHS is a place where students will foster relationships that last a lifetime.
