6 November 2008—MHS Open House 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
18 November 2008—MHS Open House 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

1 December 2008—First round applications due
2 December 2008—Start of second round of admissions
8 December 2008—First round decisions mailed
19 December 2008—First round response to school with deposit

28 January 2009—MHS Open House 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

10 February 2009—MHS Open House 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
27 February 2009—Re-enrollment contracts due with deposit
27 February 2009—Second round applications due

6 March 2009—Second round decisions mailed (Applications received after this date will be considered upon completion, depending on space and financial aid funding)
16 March 2009—Second round response to school with deposit

Financial Aid Process

Applicants for financial aid must complete a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) online through the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). The financial aid form for the 2009-2010 school year is available starting November 15, 2008.

19 December 2008—First round applicants’ PFS submitted to NAIS (copy mailed to MHS)
16 January 2009—First round financial aid decisions mailed
27 February 2009—Second round applicants’ PFS submitted to NAIS (copy mailed to MHS)
27 March 2009—Second round financial aid decisions mailed

Admissions Fees

Application Fee: $50 for applications postmarked through 1 December; $100 for applications postmarked after 1 December.
Deposit: $500 due with submission of contract.

Admissions Visits

Admissions Visits for students who have already applied take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Visiting students will be hosted by a current MHS student, served lunch, and will have their application interview on the afternoon of their visit.
